Coconuco Language
Coconuco Language is an indigenous language spoken by the Coconuco people in Colombia. It belongs to the Chibchan language family and is primarily used in the Coconuco community located in the Cauca Department. The language is an essential part of the cultural identity of the Coconuco people.
Efforts are being made to preserve the Coconuco Language, as it faces challenges from globalization and the dominance of Spanish.
