Cockpits
A cockpit is the area in an aircraft where the pilot and co-pilot control the plane. It contains essential instruments and controls, such as the altimeter, speedometer, and navigation systems, which help the pilots operate the aircraft safely. The design of a cockpit varies depending on the type of aircraft, from small private planes to large commercial jets.
In addition to controls, cockpits are equipped with communication systems that allow pilots to talk to air traffic control and other crew members. Safety features, like ejection seats in military aircraft, are also present to protect pilots in emergencies.
