Cn-112
Cn-112, also known as Copernicium, is a synthetic element with the atomic number 112. It was first created in 1996 by a team of scientists at the GSI Helmholtz Centre for Heavy Ion Research in Germany. Cn-112 is classified as a transition metal and is part of the group 10 elements in the periodic table.
Due to its short half-life, Cn-112 is highly unstable and has only been produced in minute quantities. Its most stable isotope, Cn-285, has a half-life of about 29 milliseconds. Because of its fleeting existence, Cn-112 has no significant practical applications and is primarily of interest for scientific research.
