Cn
Cn is a chemical element with the symbol Cn and atomic number 112. It is a synthetic element, meaning it is not found naturally and must be created in a laboratory. Cn is part of the group of elements known as the group 10 elements, which also includes Ni (nickel), Pd (palladium), and Pt (platinum).
Discovered in 1996 by a team of Russian and American scientists, Cn is highly radioactive and has a very short half-life, making it difficult to study. Its most stable isotope, Cn-285, has a half-life of about 29 milliseconds. Due to its instability, Cn has no significant commercial applications.
