Cleveland Dam
Cleveland Dam is a concrete arch dam located in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It was completed in 1954 and is primarily used for water supply and flood control. The dam creates the Capilano Reservoir, which provides drinking water to the city of Vancouver and surrounding areas.
The dam stands 91 meters (299 feet) tall and spans 200 meters (656 feet) across the Capilano River. It is a popular spot for visitors, offering scenic views of the surrounding mountains and forested areas. The area around the dam is also home to various recreational activities, including hiking and picnicking.
