Cleveland Barons
The Cleveland Barons were a professional ice hockey team based in Cleveland, Ohio. They played in the American Hockey League (AHL) from 1937 to 1973 and were known for their competitive spirit. The team was affiliated with the Cleveland Indians, a Major League Baseball team, and had a loyal fan base during their years in the league.
In 1976, the Barons merged with the Minnesota North Stars, which marked the end of the franchise. The Barons were notable for their contributions to the development of hockey in the region and for producing several players who went on to have successful careers in the National Hockey League (NHL).
