Claudia Sheinbaum is a Mexican politician and scientist, known for being the first woman to serve as the Head of Government of Mexico City. She took office in December 2018 and is a member of the Morena party, which was founded by Andrés Manuel López Obrador. Before her political career, Sheinbaum earned a degree in physics and a doctorate in energy engineering.
