Civilian Time
Civilian Time, also known as standard time or regular time, refers to the 12-hour clock system commonly used in everyday life. It divides the day into two periods: AM (from midnight to noon) and PM (from noon to midnight). This format is widely used in countries like the United States and Canada for scheduling daily activities.
In contrast to military time, which uses a 24-hour format, Civilian Time is often considered more intuitive for casual use. For example, 3 PM in Civilian Time corresponds to 15:00 in military time. This system helps people easily communicate and understand time in social and professional settings.
