Cimicidae
Cimicidae, commonly known as bed bugs, are small, wingless insects that belong to the family of parasitic insects. They primarily feed on the blood of humans and other warm-blooded animals. Bed bugs are nocturnal and are often found in places where people sleep, such as mattresses, bed frames, and furniture.
These pests are reddish-brown in color and can grow up to 5-7 mm in length. Bed bugs reproduce quickly, making infestations challenging to control. They are known for their ability to hide in tiny crevices, which allows them to spread easily in homes, hotels, and other accommodations.
