Chuvash language
Chuvash language is a Turkic language spoken primarily in the Chuvash Republic of Russia. It is the only surviving member of the Oghur branch of Turkic languages, which distinguishes it from other Turkic languages like Turkish and Kazakh. Chuvash has its own unique script based on the Cyrillic alphabet, adapted to represent specific sounds in the language.
The language is an essential part of Chuvash culture and identity, with a rich tradition of oral literature and folklore. Efforts are ongoing to preserve and promote the language, especially among younger generations, as it faces challenges from dominant languages like Russian.
