Church Of Satan
The Church of Satan is an organization founded in 1966 by Anton LaVey in San Francisco, California. It promotes a philosophy that emphasizes individualism, self-indulgence, and personal empowerment, often using symbolism and rituals associated with Satan as a metaphor for freedom and rebellion against traditional religious norms.
Members of the Church do not worship Satan as a deity but rather view him as a symbol of human nature and the pursuit of personal desires. The Church's teachings are outlined in LaVey's book, The Satanic Bible, which serves as a guide for its followers and emphasizes rational self-interest and skepticism.
