Christmas Trees
A Christmas tree is a decorated tree, usually an evergreen conifer, that is traditionally used to celebrate the Christmas holiday. Families often place the tree in their homes, where it is adorned with lights, ornaments, and sometimes a star or angel on top. The practice of using trees for decoration during winter celebrations dates back centuries.
The custom of decorating a Christmas tree became popular in the 19th century, particularly in Germany and later spread to other countries. Today, many people choose either real trees, which can be recycled after the holiday, or artificial trees, which can be reused year after year.
