Chris Pérez is an American musician best known as the lead guitarist for the Tejano band Selena y Los Dinos. He was born on August 14, 1969, in San Antonio, Texas. Pérez joined the band in 1986 and played a significant role in their rise to fame, contributing to their unique sound that blended various musical styles. In addition to his work with Selena, Pérez has released solo albums and collaborated with other artists. He is also known for his memoir, "To Selena, with Love," which details his relationship with Selena Quintanilla, the band's lead singer, who was tragically murdered in 1995.
