Chris Hadfield
Chris Hadfield is a retired Canadian astronaut known for his work with NASA. He was born on August 29, 1959, in Sarnia, Ontario. Hadfield became the first Canadian to command the International Space Station (ISS) during his mission in 2013. He is also recognized for his engaging social media presence, sharing photos and videos from space.
Before becoming an astronaut, Hadfield served as a pilot in the Royal Canadian Air Force and flew on two space shuttle missions. He has a background in engineering and has authored several books about his experiences in space, inspiring many with his passion for exploration.
