Chokai Mountain
Chokai Mountain, located on the border of Akita and Yamagata prefectures in Japan, is a prominent stratovolcano. Standing at 2,236 meters (7,337 feet), it is the second-highest peak in the Tohoku region. The mountain is known for its symmetrical shape and is often referred to as "the mountain of the gods" due to its cultural significance.
