Cherub
A "cherub" is a type of angelic being often depicted in religious art and literature. Traditionally, cherubs are portrayed as youthful, innocent figures with wings, symbolizing purity and divine love. They are commonly associated with the presence of God and are mentioned in various religious texts, including the Bible.
In art, cherubs are frequently shown in a playful manner, often as part of larger scenes that convey themes of joy and spirituality. They are sometimes confused with putti, which are similar winged figures in Renaissance art, but cherubs have a more specific religious significance.
