Chase Manhattan
Chase Manhattan was a major American bank formed in 1955 through the merger of Chase National Bank and The Manhattan Company. It became one of the largest financial institutions in the United States, offering a wide range of services, including personal banking, investment banking, and asset management.
In 2000, Chase Manhattan merged with J.P. Morgan & Co. to create J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., which is now one of the largest banking institutions in the world. The bank continues to provide financial services to individuals, businesses, and governments globally.
