Charles Webb
Charles Webb was an American author best known for his novel, The Graduate, published in 1963. The book gained significant attention and was later adapted into a successful film in 1967, directed by Mike Nichols. Webb's writing often explored themes of youth, disillusionment, and the complexities of relationships.
In addition to The Graduate, Webb wrote several other novels, though none achieved the same level of fame. He was born on June 9, 1934, in Los Angeles, California, and spent much of his life in England. Webb's literary contributions reflect the cultural shifts of the 1960s and 1970s.
