Chakravyuh
Chakravyuh is a complex military formation described in ancient Indian texts, particularly in the epic Mahabharata. It resembles a circular maze designed to trap and confuse the enemy, with multiple layers of soldiers arranged in a circular pattern. Each layer is strategically placed to protect the inner core while allowing for coordinated attacks.
In the Mahabharata, the formation is famously used during the Kurukshetra War to capture Abhimanyu, the son of Arjuna. Despite his bravery and skills, Abhimanyu was unable to escape the formation due to his lack of knowledge about how to exit it, highlighting the strategic brilliance and challenges of ancient warfare.
