Chair Lifts
A chair lift is a type of aerial lift used primarily in ski resorts to transport skiers and snowboarders up a mountain. It consists of a series of chairs attached to a cable that moves in a loop, allowing passengers to sit and enjoy the view as they ascend. Chair lifts can vary in design, with some featuring safety bars and weather protection.
In addition to skiing, chair lifts are also used in summer for activities like hiking and mountain biking. They provide easy access to elevated areas, making outdoor recreation more accessible. Many chair lifts are part of larger systems that include gondolas and tows for efficient transportation.
