Chainmail
Chainmail is a type of armor made from interlinked metal rings. It was commonly used in the Middle Ages to protect soldiers during battles. The rings are usually made of steel or iron and are woven together in a pattern that allows flexibility while providing a strong defense against slashing attacks.
This armor was often worn over a padded garment for added protection and comfort. Chainmail was effective against cutting weapons but less so against blunt force attacks. It has become a symbol of medieval warfare and is still used today in historical reenactments and by some martial artists.
