Chaffinch
The Chaffinch is a small bird belonging to the finch family, commonly found across Europe and parts of Asia. It has a distinctive appearance, with a blue-grey cap, rust-colored underparts, and a white wing bar. Males and females exhibit different plumage, with males being more colorful. Chaffinches are often seen in woodlands, gardens, and parks.
Chaffinches primarily feed on seeds, particularly those from grasses and trees. They are known for their melodious song, which consists of a series of cheerful notes. During the breeding season, they build nests in trees or shrubs, where they raise their young.
