Chaeryeong is a South Korean singer and dancer, best known as a member of the girl group ITZY. Born on August 14, 2001, she gained popularity for her impressive performances and stage presence. Chaeryeong debuted with ITZY in February 2019, and the group quickly rose to fame with their hit songs. Before her debut, Chaeryeong participated in the reality show Sixteen, which aimed to form the girl group TWICE. Although she did not make the final lineup, her talent was recognized, leading to her eventual debut with ITZY under JYP Entertainment.
