Cerknica Lake
Cerknica Lake is a unique intermittent lake located in Slovenia. It is part of the Cerknica Polje, a karst field that fills with water during the rainy season and dries up in the summer. The lake covers an area of about 26 square kilometers when full, making it one of the largest lakes in Slovenia.
