Central Time
Central Time (CT) is a time zone that is six hours behind Coordinated Universal Time (UTC-6). It is primarily used in the central part of the United States and Canada. During Daylight Saving Time, which typically runs from the second Sunday in March to the first Sunday in November, the time shifts to Central Daylight Time (CDT), which is UTC-5.
The Central Time Zone includes major cities such as Chicago, Dallas, and Minneapolis. It covers parts of 20 U.S. states, as well as some regions in Mexico and Canada. This time zone plays a significant role in scheduling for businesses and broadcasting across the central region.
