Central Command
Central Command, often referred to as CENTCOM, is a major unified command of the United States Armed Forces. It is responsible for military operations in the Middle East, parts of North Africa, and Central Asia. Established in 1983, its primary mission is to promote regional stability and protect U.S. interests through military readiness and cooperation with allied nations.
The headquarters of Central Command is located at MacDill Air Force Base in Florida. It oversees various military branches, including the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps, coordinating efforts to address security challenges and respond to crises in its area of responsibility.
