Cell Stress
Cell stress refers to a condition where cells experience harmful changes due to various factors, such as toxins, heat, or lack of nutrients. This stress can disrupt normal cellular functions, leading to potential damage or death. Cells have mechanisms to cope with stress, including activating protective proteins and repairing damaged components.
When cells are under stress, they may enter a state called apoptosis, which is a form of programmed cell death. This process helps eliminate damaged cells to maintain overall health. Chronic cell stress can contribute to various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders.
