Celestial Regions
Celestial regions refer to the vast areas of space that contain various astronomical objects and phenomena. These regions include the Milky Way Galaxy, where our solar system resides, as well as other galaxies, nebulae, and star clusters. Each region has unique characteristics, such as the density of stars or the presence of interstellar gas and dust.
In addition to galaxies, celestial regions can also encompass areas like the Oort Cloud, which is a distant shell of icy objects surrounding our solar system. Understanding these regions helps astronomers study the formation and evolution of the universe, as well as the potential for extraterrestrial life.
