Cayetana Fitz-James Stuart's Family
Cayetana Fitz-James Stuart, the 18th Duchess of Alba, belonged to a prominent Spanish noble family. She was born on March 28, 1926, to Jacobo Fitz-James Stuart y Falcó, the 17th Duke of Alba, and María del Rosario de Silva y Gurtubay. The family has a long history, with the title of Duke of Alba dating back to the 15th century.
Cayetana had six children: Carlos Fitz-James Stuart, Eugenia Fitz-James Stuart, Fernando Fitz-James Stuart, Isabel Fitz-James Stuart, Luis Fitz-James Stuart, and Pilar Fitz-James Stuart. Her family is known for its extensive art collection and historical palaces, including the Palacio de Liria in Madrid.
