Caucasian Tur
The Caucasian Tur, also known as the Caucasian ibex, is a wild goat species native to the mountainous regions of the Caucasus in Eastern Europe and Western Asia. It is characterized by its impressive curved horns, which can grow up to 1 meter long in males. The fur is typically a mix of brown and gray, providing excellent camouflage in rocky terrains.
Caucasian Turs are agile climbers, adept at navigating steep cliffs and rugged landscapes. They primarily feed on grasses, shrubs, and other vegetation found in their habitat. Due to habitat loss and hunting, their populations are threatened, leading to conservation efforts in the region.
