Catholic Sacraments
Catholic sacraments are sacred rituals recognized by the Catholic Church as essential means of grace. There are seven sacraments: Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist, Penance, Anointing of the Sick, Holy Orders, and Matrimony. Each sacrament serves a specific purpose in a person's spiritual journey and is believed to strengthen their relationship with God.
These sacraments are divided into three categories: the sacraments of initiation, healing, and service. The sacraments of initiation include Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist, which introduce individuals into the Christian faith. The healing sacraments, Penance and Anointing of the Sick, provide spiritual and physical healing, while Holy Orders and Matrimony are sacraments of service, focusing on community and commitment.
