Catholic Orders
Catholic Orders are groups of men and women who dedicate their lives to serving God and the Church through specific vows and missions. These orders can be religious, like the Franciscans or Dominicans, or secular, like the Jesuits. Members often live in community and follow a rule of life that guides their spiritual and communal practices.
Each order has its own unique charism, or spiritual focus, which influences its work and mission. For example, the Benedictines emphasize prayer and hospitality, while the Salesians focus on education and youth ministry. Together, these orders contribute to the diverse life of the Catholic Church.
