Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) is a non-profit health system based in the United States. It was formed in 1996 and operates numerous hospitals, outpatient facilities, and other healthcare services across the country. CHI focuses on providing compassionate care while adhering to the values of the Catholic Church.
In 2019, CHI merged with Dignity Health to create one of the largest health systems in the nation, known as CommonSpirit Health. This merger aimed to enhance healthcare access and improve patient outcomes by combining resources and expertise from both organizations.
