Catherine Grey
Catherine Grey was an English noblewoman born around 1540, known for being the sister of Lady Jane Grey, the nine-day queen of England. Catherine was a member of the Tudor dynasty and was a great-granddaughter of Henry VII. After her sister's execution, Catherine faced political challenges and was imprisoned for a time due to her royal blood.
Catherine married Edward Seymour, the son of the Duke of Somerset, but their marriage was kept secret for years. She eventually gained some recognition and was involved in the court's political intrigues. Catherine died in 1568, leaving behind a legacy tied to the tumultuous history of the English Reformation.
