Cat Paws
Cat paws are the soft, padded feet of domestic cats, designed for stealth and agility. Each paw typically has five toes on the front paws and four on the back, equipped with retractable claws that help them climb, hunt, and defend themselves. The pads on their paws provide cushioning and grip, allowing them to walk quietly and navigate various surfaces.
The structure of cat paws includes bones, tendons, and muscles that enable flexibility and movement. Cats use their paws for grooming, as they often lick their paws to clean their fur. Additionally, cats have a unique ability to walk on their toes, a trait known as digitigrade locomotion, which enhances their hunting skills.
