Carthay Circle Theatre
The Carthay Circle Theatre is a historic movie palace located in Los Angeles, California. Opened in 1926, it was designed in the Spanish Colonial Revival style and became known for its luxurious interior and grand architecture. The theatre was a popular venue for film premieres, including the world premiere of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in 1937.
After closing in 1969, the theatre was demolished in 1970. In 2012, a replica of the original Carthay Circle Theatre was built at Disney California Adventure Park as part of the park's expansion, serving as a restaurant and lounge.
