Carlos Thays
Carlos Thays was an influential Argentine landscape architect, born on April 14, 1849, in France. He is best known for designing numerous parks and public spaces in Buenos Aires, including the famous Parque Tres de Febrero. His work significantly contributed to the city's green spaces and urban planning.
Thays moved to Argentina in 1884 and became a key figure in the development of landscape architecture in the country. He emphasized the importance of integrating nature into urban environments, which led to the creation of beautiful gardens and parks that are still enjoyed today.
