Carlos Beltran
Carlos Beltrán is a former professional baseball player from Puerto Rico, known for his exceptional skills as an outfielder and switch hitter. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for several teams, including the Kansas City Royals, New York Mets, and Houston Astros. Beltrán was a key player in the league from the late 1990s to the 2010s, earning multiple All-Star selections and winning several Gold Glove Awards for his defensive prowess.
Throughout his career, Beltrán was recognized for his ability to hit for power and average, as well as his speed on the bases. He finished his career with over 400 home runs and more than 1,500 runs batted in (RBIs). After retiring, he transitioned into coaching and was named the manager of the New York Mets in 2019, although he stepped down before managing a game.
