Caribbean community
The Caribbean Community, commonly known as CARICOM, is an organization of 15 Caribbean nations and dependencies. Established in 1973, its primary goal is to promote economic integration and cooperation among member states. CARICOM aims to enhance trade, improve living standards, and foster regional stability.
In addition to economic collaboration, CARICOM also focuses on social and cultural development. The community works on issues such as education, health, and environmental sustainability. By uniting diverse nations, CARICOM seeks to address common challenges and strengthen the region's voice on the global stage.
