Carhenge
Carhenge is a unique automotive art installation located in Alliance, Nebraska. It was created in 1987 by Jim Reinders as a tribute to the famous Stonehenge in England. The structure consists of vintage cars arranged in a circular formation, mimicking the layout of the ancient stone monument.
The installation features 38 cars, many of which are painted gray to resemble stone. Carhenge serves as a popular roadside attraction, drawing visitors who appreciate its quirky design and the creativity behind it. It also highlights the cultural significance of automobiles in American life.
