Cardolan
Cardolan is a fictional realm in the legendarium of J.R.R. Tolkien, specifically within the context of Middle-earth. It is located in the region of Eriador, near the Glanduin River, and is known for its lush landscapes and rich history. Cardolan was one of the kingdoms of the Dúnedain, the race of Men descended from the ancient Númenóreans.
The kingdom of Cardolan was established after the downfall of Arnor, a major kingdom of the Dúnedain. It eventually fell into decline due to internal strife and external threats, particularly from the Witch-king of Angmar. By the time of The Lord of the Rings, Cardolan had become largely desolate, with its remnants lost to time and memory.
