Cardinal Federico Borromeo
Cardinal Federico Borromeo (1538-1631) was an influential Italian cleric and a key figure in the Catholic Church during the Counter-Reformation. He served as the Archbishop of Milan and was known for his efforts to reform the clergy and improve the spiritual life of his diocese. Borromeo played a significant role in implementing the reforms established by the Council of Trent.
