Cardinal Bagnasco
Cardinal Angelo Bagnasco is an Italian prelate of the Roman Catholic Church, born on January 14, 1943. He served as the Archbishop of Genoa from 2006 to 2017 and was elevated to the rank of cardinal in 2007. Bagnasco has been involved in various church activities and has held significant positions within the Italian Episcopal Conference.
In addition to his role in Genoa, Cardinal Bagnasco was appointed as the President of the Italian Episcopal Conference from 2007 to 2013. He has participated in several synods and has been an influential voice on social and moral issues within the Church.
