Carcross Desert
The Carcross Desert is located in the Yukon Territory of Canada, near the small community of Carcross. It is often considered the world's smallest desert, covering an area of about 2.6 square kilometers. The desert features unique sand dunes and is surrounded by stunning mountain scenery, making it a popular destination for visitors.
Despite its name, the Carcross Desert is not a true desert, as it receives enough precipitation to support some vegetation. The area was formed by glacial activity and the erosion of surrounding mountains, resulting in the sandy landscape seen today.
