Cape San Blas Lighthouse
The Cape San Blas Lighthouse is located on the Gulf Coast of Florida, specifically in Gulf County. Originally built in 1848, it served as a navigational aid for ships traveling along the coast. The lighthouse stands at 100 feet tall and features a distinctive white and black striped design.
In 1919, the lighthouse was decommissioned, but it was restored and moved to its current location in Port St. Joe in 1997. Today, it is a popular tourist attraction, offering visitors a chance to climb to the top for stunning views of the surrounding area and the Gulf of Mexico.
