Candlestick Park
Candlestick Park was a multi-purpose stadium located in San Francisco, California. Opened in 1960, it served as the home for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League and the San Francisco Giants of Major League Baseball. The stadium was known for its windy conditions and unique location near the San Francisco Bay.
The park hosted numerous significant events, including the 1989 World Series and several Super Bowl games. It was officially closed in 2013 and demolished in 2015, making way for new developments. Candlestick Park remains a notable part of San Francisco's sports history.
