Candle Safety
Candle safety is essential to prevent fires and injuries. Always place candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from flammable materials like curtains or paper. Keep candles out of reach of children and pets, and never leave them unattended while burning.
When lighting candles, use a long lighter or match to avoid burns. Trim the wick to about ¼ inch to reduce soot and ensure a steady flame. Extinguish candles by blowing them out gently or using a snuffer, and avoid using water, as it can cause hot wax to splatter.
