Canadian Languages
Canada is a multilingual country with two official languages: English and French. These languages reflect the country's colonial history, with English primarily spoken in most provinces and French predominantly used in Quebec.
In addition to the official languages, Canada is home to over 70 indigenous languages, belonging to various language families such as Algonquian, Iroquoian, and Salishan. These languages are vital to the cultural heritage of Indigenous peoples and are actively being revitalized through community efforts and educational programs.
