Canadian Children's Opera Company
The Canadian Children's Opera Company (CCOC) is a Toronto-based organization dedicated to providing young people with the opportunity to experience and perform opera. Founded in 1968, the CCOC offers training in singing, acting, and stagecraft, allowing children and youth to develop their artistic skills in a supportive environment.
The company produces a variety of operatic works, often tailored for younger audiences, and engages participants in all aspects of production. Through its programs, the CCOC aims to foster a love for the performing arts and encourage creativity among children, making opera accessible and enjoyable for all.
