Canadian Amateur Hockey Association
The Canadian Amateur Hockey Association (CAHA) was the governing body for amateur ice hockey in Canada. Established in 1914, it aimed to promote and develop the sport at all levels, from youth leagues to senior competitions. The CAHA was responsible for organizing national championships and overseeing the rules and regulations of the game.
In 1994, the CAHA was restructured and became part of the Hockey Canada organization, which now governs all levels of ice hockey in Canada. This transition helped streamline operations and enhance the development of players, coaches, and officials across the country, ensuring a unified approach to the sport.
